Research Materials
What are research peptides?
Research peptides are short chains of amino acids used in laboratory research to study biological processes, cellular signaling, metabolic pathways, mitochondrial function, and other areas of scientific interest.
Are RVAmino Labs products intended for human use?
No. RVAmino Labs products are sold strictly for laboratory and research purposes and are not intended for human consumption, medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapeutic use.
What does “lyophilized” mean?
Lyophilization is a freeze-drying process commonly used to improve the stability of research materials during storage and transportation. Many research peptides are supplied as a lyophilized powder.
How should research peptides be stored?
Storage requirements vary depending on the compound and whether it remains lyophilized or has been reconstituted. Researchers should follow the storage information supplied with the specific product and appropriate laboratory procedures.
Are research peptides FDA-approved medications?
A product being offered as a research peptide should not be assumed to be an FDA-approved medication. RVAmino Labs research products are offered for laboratory and research purposes only.
Quality & Testing
Do your peptides come with a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
Yes. A COA and available testing documentation are provided with each peptide ordered. The documentation corresponds to the specific manufacturing batch from which the peptide originated, allowing researchers to review testing associated with the material they receive.
How do you select your manufacturers?
We research prospective manufacturers and suppliers before establishing relationships. We consider manufacturing practices, product consistency, testing standards, documentation, reliability, and quality-control procedures. We work with established manufacturers that meet our standards for quality, transparency, and consistency.
Why is batch-specific testing important?
Analytical results can vary between manufacturing batches. Batch-specific documentation allows researchers to review testing associated with the material they actually receive rather than relying solely on generalized or historical test results.
Does a COA mean a peptide is safe for human use?
No. A Certificate of Analysis reports specified analytical characteristics of the tested sample. A COA does not establish that a research product is safe, effective, or approved for human use.
Ordering & Availability
Why don't you list public prices on the website?
Product availability and sourcing can change. Our Request Product system allows us to confirm current availability, testing documentation, and pricing before responding to an inquiry.
What does “Special Order” mean?
Special Order means a research product may be available through our supplier network but isn't currently maintained as regular inventory. Availability is confirmed when an inquiry is received.
How do I request a product?
Use the Request Product page to select the research materials you're interested in and submit your contact information. RVAmino Labs will follow up regarding availability, pricing, and applicable product information.
Can I request a peptide that isn't listed on the website?
Yes. The products displayed on our website represent only part of what may be obtainable through our supplier relationships. Include the compound you're looking for in the notes section of the Request Product form, and we'll determine whether it is available.
How can I contact RVAmino Labs?
Questions regarding products, availability, testing documentation, COAs, or an existing inquiry can be sent to info@rvaminolabs.com.
